The thing I like most about Tony logs is that my wish to see him suffer for being shitty to Danann is fulfilled on a semi-regular basis. Bravo.

Tony lay on his sofa, the PADD laid on his stomach as he scrolled through his case files. One in particular.
Niamh had been busy, and he had done his best to keep her and her Maquis buddy´s out of prison so far....there were only so many surveillance reports he could bury. He had already committed treason by deleting any trace of his relationship to her......that´s a brace.
He felt pride for her, out there fighting the good fight for the downtrodden, helping the helpless. And here he was.
"You ready for bed?"
Tony switched the PADD over to some feline video as Clara strolled into the living area, her long flowing silk nightgown framing her just perfectly. Not even leaving much left for imagination.
"Yeah...be there in a minute" he said, a practiced grin on his face as he sat up and pressed a combination code on the keypad clearing his history. Seeing Henry Sumner code had taught him how to be careful.
She moved over to the sofa and leaned down, grabbing the PADD and tossing it onto the coffee table. "No. Now"
----
"Our next target is an Orion slave trader and thief. Goes by the name of Lilith...Lil for short." Sarge stepped aside as a picture of the lean green woman appeared on the viewer before them. "Known associates are Kolath, Adria and Mudd...so not our usual gutter rat".
"From what Starfleet HQ tells us, she and her crew are planning a large grab of Federation medical supplies for this man, Trite....syndicate boss on the Orion held station El."
"Which medical supplies, and why?" Tony asked, his hand raised.
Sarge looked at Tony, his dark brown eyes shooting daggers. "I just wonder....nevermind"
Sarge sighed and leaned forward on his desk, his head low "Speak now or shut the fuck up".
"What does the Orion need with medical supplies, from what I can see these drugs are not applicable for narcotic production or weapons manufacturing"
"Those drugs belong to Starfleet, that´s all you need to know" he said, before tapping the desk with his knuckles and turning back to the screen.
Tony clenched his jaw and nodded, receiving a glance of disapproval from Clara as Sarge continued.
"We´ve previously successfully thwarted their attempt to steal a shipment by rerouting the U.S.S. Banting to Andor for resupply, meaning the only option these pirates have is local...and we´re casting a net.
Sarge brought up a 3D model of the sector, highlighting a few supply stations. "These stations´ supply records show large quantities of the same medical supplies the Orions have been after."
He turned to face them "Radar has devised a new tracking device that is near undetectable. Tony?"
Tony sighed and turned his chair to face the rest of the team "It´s power signature is linked to that of a Matter antimatter reaction, meaning it only draws power once a ship has entered warp."
"Won´t the internal sensors be triggered once it starts transmitting?" Rex asked.
"No, that´s the beauty. The signal piggybacks on the subspace field generated by the ship, and if the ship drops out of warp, it goes dormant".
"Nice" Clara said, tossing his hair. "Radar is smart"
"Shut up"

Well, he has to be good at something! Great log, E. I love how Tony is working behind the scenes to keep Danann safe, and she's absolutely no idea that's why she has an easier time than most getting over the border. Very cool, indeed

Tony jumped to as his wrist-unit beeped and drew his feet off the console, placing them firmly on the ground and ran his hands over his face as if to massage it back to life.
The drugs were on the move.
Tony shut off the alarm and turned on the console, accessing the confidential material and comparing the location of the signal to the last known position of this specific tracker.....as the computer accessed the Long range sensor data, he got up and walked to the replicator to pick up a large cup of coffee. The last few weeks had been stressing, as the Intelligence committee kept pushing for a resolution to the threat of piracy in the region.
Tony walked back to his station and took a sip of the scolding hot coffee, watching the star map slowly zoom in on the quadrant and the systems under surveillance.
Starfleet Intelligence had placed his tracking device in stashes of medicine on five different supply stations in the region, and cut off every other source. Casting the perfect net to catch whoever was out there stealing valuable medicine for their own profit.
The scanner honed in on the Cassacian system...space station Aceso. "Gotcha".
-----
"The last ping we got was from this system" Tony highlighted a known star system on the holographic display, the Zeta system. "We haven´t received a signal since, meaning they might have either located and disabled the device or they are travelling at sub-light speeds or sitting around waiting for a pick-up".
"Zeta?" Clara piped in, her stylus at ready.
"Yeah, named by someone who believe there were only 24 stars in this galaxy" Tony quipped before moving on. "Close to the Badlands and has one inhabited M-class planet, Zeta-Nine. A former Maquis stronghold firmly placed in the DMZ"
Tony zoomed in on the planet, mostly blue with large swathes of green "This system is just over five light years from the Solosos system, home to a former Maquis stronghold Solosos III as most of you know, well maybe not Rex..."
"Shut up, nerd"
"- Captain Sisko made that planet uninhabitable and poisoned its inhabitants, most of whom have now taken up settlement on Zeta Nine. It´s people are very anti Federation after that regretful action"
Sarge nodded silently and flipped through his PADD "Quite smart...."
"Sir?" Tony asked as he moved to sit on the corner of the desk in the briefing room.
"These pirates...we have reviewed the sensor and surveillance data from Aceso station...the manner of their inflitration suggest intimate knowledge of Starfleet operations"
"Look here" Sarge said, grateful to change the topic and bringing up a schematic of the station from its internal sensors for the time period the drugs went missing. "Time index 14401 there was an unscheduled reboot of the main computer core, disabling the sensor grid of almost 12 minutes...these reboots are scheduled at random, with only the station chiefs knowing the time for each one. However here, something happened in one of the subspace relays. A code was introduced into the comm array, forcing a diagnostic cycle of the main firewall that allowed a foreign code to be introduced..."
"We could use someone like that on our team" Rex piped up while polishing his phaser rifle´s main focusing lens.
"I´m right here" Tony interjected, pointing at his face.
"Yeah, like I said...we could use someone smart"
"You just called me a nerd two minutes ago"
Sarge just looked up, instantly silencing the room before continuing "We have identified the freighter responsible...S.S Granuaile."
Tony felt his stomach drop - Gods please no
"And we believe that they are currently at Zeta Nine to offload their stolen goods. A strike team is already mobilizing."
Tony tried to calm his nerves as not to bring attention to his panicked state. He had taken every precaution to delete any mention of his relationship with Nia, and the Granuaile in general....she would probably never know, and now he had led her to her end.
"Radar?"
"Hmm?"
"I said keep an eye on that signal, if the cargo jumps to warp we need to inform the team immediately"
"Yes, Sarge...I´ll keep an eye out"
"We don´t know much about the Granuaile other than it is an independent cargo runner, our dossier on them is minimal and they have not been connected to any high profile crimes worthy of Starfleet´s attention. Until now."
I´m sorry Nia
"Dismissed!"

I´m sorry Nia
"Dismissed!"
Tony collected his PADD and stood up. He needed to warn Nia somehow...he needed to get them both out of this mess.
"Adalberto...stick around" Sarge said as the team left the room. Clara looked over her shoulder with a raised eyebrow. "Go, I´ll catch up" he said to her as the doors slid shut.
Tony turned around, his PADD over his midriff as he stood at attention.
Sarge walked around the desk and set on its edge, his brow furrowed "The Granuaile. Her Captain, retired Starfleet Commander Danann"
"Yes, sarge" he could feel his hands start to shake.
"You think staying silent on your relationship with this woman was going to endear you to me?"
Tony stared straight ahead, then relaxed his stance. There was no way out of this other than to own it. "No sir....the name of the freighter caught me off guard....but I know who the Captain is"
"You KNOW who she is?" he raised his voice and stood up, coming within arms reach of Tony who flinched and took a step back.
"We have your dossier, son. You two were intimate and your psychological profile is one hell of a read!"
Tony merely nodded, too terrified to speak. How much did he know about his past time activities, erasing the Granuaile´s mentions from intel reports over the past year.
"Is this going to be a problem?"
"Sir?"
"You are Starfleet, Commander Adalberto. She is a Maquis criminal and thief. Is this going to be a problem?"
Tony would gulp if he had any saliva left. "No sir"
Sarge stepped back and picked up a PADD from his desk "You have a chance to win back my trust....we have an assignment for you....and trust me, Commander Adalberto. If you do not carry out this task, I will personally send you back to New Zealand"
"Aye sir"
"And Commander..." Sarge added, thrusting the PADD into Tony´s arms "You better hope there´s nothing else you´ve kept from us"
